About Us

Bright Stars Discovery Center is a trusted early learning center in Milpitas, California, serving children from 2 months old through entry to 1st grade. We offer Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs designed to support every stage of early development. We are fully licensed and insured, and participate in the Choice for Children Subsidized Child Care Program, helping families access high-quality early education.

At Bright Stars, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment—indoors and outdoors—where children thrive through high-quality, play-based learning. We proudly serve a diverse community of families and are committed to supporting each child’s development with care and respect.

Our blended curriculum integrates Montessori principles with play-based learning, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence. We focus on kindergarten readiness by building strong academic and social-emotional foundations to support each child’s next steps. Every day, children engage in enriching activities across art, music, movement, language, literacy, dramatic play, science, and math. In addition, our Spanish immersion program introduces children to the language and culture through listening, speaking, reading, and hands-on experiences—broadening their worldview from an early age.

Virtual

Our virtual program offers live, interactive classes led by experienced teachers, featuring hands-on activities and creative learning tailored to each child’s interests.

  • Our Virtual Arts & Crafts class invites children to explore their creativity through guided drawing, painting, origami, and both watercolor and oil painting projects. These sessions encourage self-expression while building fine motor and visual arts skills.

  • In the Virtual Music & Movement class, children are introduced to basic music concepts, including musical instruments and note reading. We also offer optional one-on-one beginner piano lessons to support individual growth and interest in music.

  • The Virtual Dance program keeps children active and energized with fun, instructor-led sessions, including free-form dancing and kids’ Zumba. These sessions promote coordination, rhythm, and confidence through movement.

  • Our Virtual Spanish Learning class introduces children to the Spanish language and culture in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Children learn basic Spanish vocabulary and begin to listen, read, and speak simple words and sentences. Designed for children ages five and up, this class also welcomes adult family members who want to participate and learn alongside their child.
